Hello,
Im currently looking for the Serial # on my rebuilt system, so for I only found this, ME1688-861652-17. But when I search for the PC online it doesnt come up with any results.
P.s I bought the system from MicroCenter, so I dont know if that effects it or not.
So my question is, where can i find the Serial #, or is that the serial # if it is can someone please explain why it doesnt show up?
Thank You!!

I'm really just trying to find the system name, its from CyberPowerPC, and its specs.

If you're simply trying to find the specs you can use programs to help you out.

CPU-Z is a good one, it should be able to list your mainboard (motherboard), CPU and RAM.
GPU-Z is a good one for your GPU.

Some of the information found in CPU-Z and GPU-Z can be located on your computer itself by looking through the Device Manager, but it won't have much.

Unfortunately, for the PSU you'll either have to physically look (which may require partial removal of the PSU from your case. By that I mean you may have to unscrew it from where it's mounted in the case to see the name, model number and/or serial number of it. This is something you would do after powering off the computer and unplugging the power cable from the outlet). Or you'd have to contact the manufacturer to see if they can provide you with the make/model of the PSU.

It may very well be the serial# tied your system, but that doesn't mean it's something registered online anywhere.

It's been a long while since I've had just a pre-built computer (since 1999), so I don't recall if there was a serial number tied to that specific computer I had. I don't really see why there would be considering the computer is made up of a lot of different pieces of hardware (which each item would have it's own individual serial number).

A company that builds computers for resale may indeed apply their own internal serial number to it so they may be able to track it in their system, but that doesn't mean that the serial number they use will be found on the internet.

Is there some kind of specific information you're trying to find by looking up the serial number on your computer?

You bought a prebuilt yet didn't look at the specs.
Did it come in a box? The serial or spec info might be on it.

Serial# might just be for your PC only. Why are you looking for the serial#? try contacting cyberpowerPC?
